Menominee County Federal Credit Union Changing Name to Integra First Federal Credit Union
Powers, MI, December 31, 2015 -
Menominee County Federal Credit Union has announced they will be changing their name to Integra First Federal Credit Union effective January 1, 2016. According to CEO, Paul Martin, “This new, inclusive name will better reflect our overall membership which has evolved over the years. Throughout this process, while working closely with our Board of Directors, we felt the time was right to make the change.
A name representative of what Menominee County Federal Credit Union has stood for throughout the years was desired. “It was a natural progression from integrity to Integra,” commented Martin. He also added, “It was our intention to create a name that was more inclusive for our members than our previous name.” He also stated that since the inclusion of Marinette County residents several years ago into their field of membership, it basically rendered their former name obsolete.
Board of Directors President, Brian Forgette added that nothing but the name will be changing. “Menominee County Federal Credit Union is changing names, not direction, as we are still dedicated to being our members’ trusted financial partner for life. Simply put, same faces, same service, just a different name.”
The communities that are home to MCFCU’s 4 branches, Menominee, Stephenson, Carney and Powers, will see new Integra First Federal Credit Union signs being installed during the week of January 4th.
